I am an Advanced Level 4 Personal trainer and classes of all description instructor. This allows me to work with individuals who have medical conditions of a wide range. From heart disease to metabolic syndromes, Parkinson’s to arthritis. I am qualified to work safely and effectively with you towards your specified goal.

I have been a personal trainer for 5 years and have built a strong and rewarding business. I genuinely care about each of my clients and build healthy relationships to support each one through their journey. I have found this to be key in achieving goals. Each individual is unique in personality and physical ability. I adapt and tailor each session to meet both of these needs as I believe this creates a positive and effective environment.

I am a wife and mother of 2 small children, family and relationships are a huge part of what make us who we are. They also place a big demand on us, and I believe the healthier we are, the happier we are and so our loved ones benefit from our investment as much as we do.

My childhood was built around sports. At the age of 4, I started ice skating, which evolved to gymnastics. My love for movement and core strength was built here and has benefitted me through life (cartwheels, handstands and monkey bars are enjoyed by my whole family at the park). I then went on to swim for my local club which took up most of my out of school hours. Training and competitions were a source of great pleasure and although I didn’t reach an Olympic podium, this discipline and lifestyle is still a huge benefit for me. In my teens I found my love and ability of long-distance running. My love for running has helped kept me sane as well as fit and I am a huge advocate of running for a healthy body and mind. Whether out for a run for some well needed “ me time” or doing sprint races with the children, I love running and am thankful I can.

However, the busyness of life around 18-21 years of age took over and through this period I did no exercise and had an extremely poor diet. I felt the effect of this as it was not normal for me and so I knew I needed to get my health back on track. I remember my first run around the block. My heart and lungs were on fire! I had to slowly build up my fitness and reintroduce healthy food choices. It took time and energy but it is something I have maintained and used to keep me fit and healthy ever since.

Throughout both of my pregnancies I maintained my fitness, although getting bigger and slower was not a huge love for me! I worked-out at home to rebuild my fitness and lose the baby weight.

These are the reasons I chose to become a PT. I want to share this knowledge with you. I have personally experienced the highs of peak physical ability and also the lows of having to start from scratch. The questions of where to begin, what is best cardio or weights and so forth.

That is my job for you. You bring the energy. I will bring the knowledge, expertise and support to get you through each session. Together we will create a fitter, healthier and happier you.
